Requests for bids, proposals or qualifications

The City of Menlo Park is now accepting electronic and paper bids. 

PlanetBids is an electronic system that streamlines procurement processes and provides expanded services to contractors and vendors.

By using PlanetBids, vendors benefit from the following features:

  • Submit bids or proposals electronically
  • View award results online
  • Self-manage certificate of insurance submittals
  • Receive automatic email notifications for bid opportunities relevant to the products or services offered by a vendor
  • Streamline and reduce paperwork, time and expense involved in the bid and award process
Bid information is open to the public and registered vendors may download solicitations at no cost. For information on public projects, please visit the PlanetBids Vendor Portal.

If you are interested in being placed on the City's vendor list, please complete the online vendor registration. Registered vendors will receive email notifications based on the product or service categories selected. Vendors are solely responsible for maintaining up to date and accurate profile information to receive timely information and notification for bid opportunities.

All proposals and bid documents will become the property of the City of Menlo Park. Upon selection of the successful proposal and before award of the contract, the proposals will become public record and subject to disclosure, as required by the California Public Records Act.
