The Maintenance Division provides many of the basic services that affect the daily lives of everyone who lives, works, visits and commutes within the City. The Maintenance Division provides support to all City departments and provides service 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to address emergencies during non-working hours. The Maintenance Division is responsible for the following six programs; Trees, Parks, Streets, Fleet, Water and Facilities. The Maintenance Division is located in the City's Corporation Yard.

The city offers two over-the-street banner slots that can be used for city-sponsored events, nonprofit organizations and community events (in that order of priority).
Sidewalks are where residents exercise, walk to local shops, wait for the bus, and talk with neighbors. They are one of the most important pieces of Menlo Park’s transportation network.
Street sweeping is a City service that helps to beautify the community by removing litter and debris from the streets.
Menlo Park desires a thick urban forest to protect and preserve the scenic beauty and natural environment of the city.
