The City Council approved a final concept design in 2019 and certified the environmental review for the design in 2020. City staff are now working on completing the right of way phase of the project and coordinating with Caltrans on starting final design. Staff are also working the secure full construction funding for the project.
The project kicked off in May 2017 and is identified as a priority project for the City Council, most recently on April 20, 2021.
