The Police Records Unit is comprised of three police records officers and managed by the communications and records manager. The unit is responsible for:


  • Police reports
  • Citations
  • Subpoenas
  • Other related paperwork

Registering offender types

  • Sex offenders
  • Narcotic offenders
  • Arson offenders
  • Gang offenders

The unit answers all non-emergency incoming phone calls, staffs the main customer service counter and assists the public with questions, copies of reports, parking permits, vehicle releases, etc.

The unit also administers the various city parking permit programs related to overnight, downtown and residential permit programs.
